This fix is for users who have problems with settings getting saved properly. It%u2019s a problem even the bought edition has.

Guide For CloneDVD
First, few words from me:
I have CloneDVD release installed and I used Server Emulator before. I simply copied SKiDROW crack and game works perfectly. I didn't remove emulator, didn't modified hosts file back, nothing. I run it through AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe without any issues at all.

But if you got CloneDVD, and having problems, here's what you do:

1. Reinstall UbiLauncher
2. Crack contains 2 folders: \Skidrow and \Update
3. Run assassins_creed_2_1.01_us.exe
4. Copy over "ubiorbitapi_r2.dll" to \Ubisoft Game Launcher
5. Don't mind Skidrow.exe it's just their hello program (or maybe copy it to the same place as dll file. I didn't have to though)
5. Run the game through AssassinsCreedII.exe or AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe

Now if it still not working - check your UbiLauncher version (open version.txt file in Ubi folder) - it should be "0117". If not run "AssassinsCreedII.exe" in AC2 folder.

If there are still problems, reinstall the game and ubilauncher and start over.

1. Install the game
2. Run assassins_creed_2_1.01_us.exe
3a. for 32bit OS: Copy over "ubiorbitapi_r2.dll" to Program Files\Ubisoft Game Launcher\ (or maybe copy SKiDROW.exe too the same place as dll file. I didn't have to though)
3b. for 64bit OS: Copy over "ubiorbitapi_r2.dll" to Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft Game Launcher\ (or maybe copy SKiDROW.exe too the same place as dll file. I didn't have to though)
4. Run the game through AssassinsCreedII.exe or AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe
